The past few months have been very exciting for all of us! I am so excited about the progress our whole team has made and would like to share some of these successes with you.
We have more than tripled in size, we launched a new name and logo, and we have a new office. That’s a lot to take on in such a short amount of time. Everyone is pitching in and doing their part to make this happen, while still providing the same high level of service that you’ve come to know!
Today I’m going to talk a little bit about what we’ve been working on and what you are going to see from the Syncta team in the near future.
An important part of growing our team has been implementing the right tools so we can better serve and support you. Using these tools to streamline our internal processes allows us to be more productive and to focus on the best solutions for you.
Test Report Form Setup
Our process for setting up new test report forms is unmatched in the industry. We have recently updated the tool that we use to set up test report forms, simplifying our internal process, and bringing new team members up to speed even faster. We can now set up two-page test reports and can even include images on the reports if you want to submit the test report with a picture of the device.
Test Report Generation
We have also updated behind-the-scenes processes that are used to generate those test report forms. Speeding up these processes means that our application will run even faster. Your time is valuable, and we are always finding new ways to help you be more efficient – with things you can see and others that you can’t see directly!
Another one of our big efforts is updating our self-help articles. These articles are the first place you can go when you have questions, and we want to make sure that every aspect of the Syncta application is covered. This effort has been underway since the day Angela, our Technical Writer, started. In the coming months, you’ll continue to see this library grow with more articles and videos to help you better utilize our features.
Looking to the Future
Now let’s chat about some new features that you will see from the team in the coming months.
Darryl, our new mobile developer, is dedicated to working on the next generation of the Syncta mobile app. We are very excited about this upcoming release, because it will bring some new functionality that many of you have been asking for 🙂
SMS messaging (text messages) will be available this year as well. This integration will make it easy to send your customers text messages – letting them know you’re on the way or running late. This keeps you closer to your customer using all the communication channels that they use today.
Are you still required to fax your reports to water purveyors? Soon you’ll be able to send those faxes directly from Syncta to the purveyor with the click of a button. You’ll no longer need to print those reports!
We’re also working on direct integration with QuickBooks, building out even more communication between Syncta and QuickBooks. This will allow you to automatically share more comprehensive information, such as consistent invoice numbers.
