Initially, one of the reasons Jeremiah set out to create a backflow testing management solution was that he was tired of watching his dad enter results in the field, only to come back home and re-enter them back into his computer. Double entry is time-consuming, and it’s inefficient! It’s also more prone to human-error. This brings me to Syncta Connect. Does your water utility require your to log in to their own web portal and enter backflow test results? With Syncta connect, we’re able to cut that extra step out by automatically submitting those test results for you. Skip that double-entry! We don’t want anyone to spend more time in the office than out in the field testing backflow devices.
3 Options to Submit to Water Utilities: Email, Paper, and Syncta Connect
Part of managing how you interact with water purveyors is being able to select which method you submit test results by. Currently, we have 3 options for you to choose from.
The first two are pretty straight-forward!
Email – Generates an email directly from Syncta with the test reports attached. We batch your reports together. That way, your water purveyor will receive one email with all the test reports you’ve submitted for that day in PDF form. If your water district requires a csv or other format, we can do that too – just let us know.
Paper – Generates one PDF file that can easily be printed. While water utilities are shifting, many of them still require mailed paper forms.
Syncta Connect – This is where the magic happens 🙂 If you are required to submit test results through a web portal we can automate this so you don’t need to do it manually… talk about a time saver!
Let’s make sure you’re making the most of Syncta. If you need any help deciding which method you need to submit your test results by, let us know and we’d be happy to help!
If you would like to setup Syncta Connect for a Water Purveyor you work with, please contact the Syncta Team. Some of them are already setup, but if it’s new there are some required configuration changes to support the new format.
